1984 I IBERTY Lincoln Cent

    This was taken in the toll booth - I used to hate counting pennies until I started finding stuff like this.

    1984-P Lincoln Cent
    The word LIBERTY has lower part of the L weakly stamped (grease?) so it looks more like an I. Looks to read I IBERTY>
    Plus, there appears to be a slight - though very slight doubling - of the 4 in the date and the IBERTY in LIBERTY.

    The scans aren't the best as I can only get to 600% (6x) magnification - a 400x PC microscope is on order.

    Thoughts anyone? - (not the microscope) - the penny.

    i would agree looks like the die got some grease in it as for the doubling i cant see it maby once you get the better magnifier
