1984 DDR??

    looks like a spread on the reverse but maybe it’s just die wear?

    You can't really call one "normal" because die deterioration will affect the width of the letters. I don't see anything out of the ordinary in your first set of images.

    There's no such thing as a "normal" die because there were literally thousands of dies that made these coins and at that infinitesimal level of magnification every single one of them is different. Don't be conned into presuming those differences have any value to anybody, because they don't.
