have one1984 D SQ, in the ways that it has an off color like copper and is thinner considerably... I’ve weighed it and it doesn’t come in at 5.67 in fact it’s around a ???weight of 5.50 g???( give or take some cents on the scale,... I’m charging my batteries to give it a more accurate read) any thoughts? I’d appreciate very much any feedback... ty - John

The light in the side by side photos is a bit misleading from the lights indoors but outside there is a clear and noticeable difference on the 84

Welcome to CT. You have a normal quarter.

Doesn't look unusual. Color is due to the environment after it left the mint 34 years ago (probably heat or chemical exposure). Weight is within tolerance, and is probably more likely to be from a scale that hasn't been calibrated in a while, or the battery issue than the actual coin

No it’s not the scale,.. I’ve replaced batteries and it’s still the same, I’ve weighed several other quarters and used a nickel to tarp and still the same

I agree. That makes it a normal quarter.

I wonder what "the exercises within these pages" are about?

Try to use a less distracting background
