1984 D over ???

Hey everone hope you all had a good turkey day.

I was over my sister in LAW's house Yesterday and I saw this penny sittig on the windowsil. Thought what the hey give it a look. I saw it was a 84 D in nice shape so i thought heck i will just drop another penny in its place, So i did. Got home and gave it a close look and found this. D over something? Look like maybe a sidesways S ANyone happen to know anything about it or have any idea of what to make of it?

Lets see a pic of the entire date and mintmark. There is a nice Doubled Die Obverse on 1984 D cents. i would wantr to see the entire date area of the coin.
