There are quite a few different doubled ear "anomalies" out there if this info is correct. Not seeing it on op's. But that is an odd looking ear. 7E29D80F-DABC-4D91-82EB-398F75E8B7A3.jpeg.jpg

That photo reminds me of a response Lincoln gave to some one who accused Lincoln of being two faced. His response was "if I had two faces, do you think I would chose to wear this one "?

I think Curly Joe might say "whoop whoop whoop, and she had a coliflower ear".

Uh well, since you asked. I thought it could be, but didn't want to throw that out there. I really don't know. Perhaps some one will guide us on that.

That 87 D is hard to get a handle on because it has zinc rot around the mm. It appears to be sinking. Is that your coin ? Was it ever in a certified slab ?

Yes mine and no. I have more pennies to get an opinion on before I send them to pcgs.

    No slab found in circulation

Well the reason I ask is because you showed a pic of an unslabbed coin, but claimed it was certified 1987 D d/d 1c fs501 pcgs. If that is so, then why is it not in the slab anymore ?

Oh didnt know that. I just used pcgs to compare my coin. I didnt know using the code meant that. I'm a gold member with them

Ok now. You are a gold member with pcgs, but have never sent in any coins ? Ok.
