1984 cent with no initials

    I just found a 1984 cent with no "FG" initials on the reverse....has anyone ever heard of this? Thanks.

    Missing initials are either due to a filled die or overzealous intentional die abrasion.

    I agree. I've found lots of LMCs with minimal or obscure FG initials.

    Not sure what it would be worth, but I do know that there is an example in the Cherry Picker guide for 1969D. If you have that penny with it's initials "missing", it can be worth about 30 bucks or so.

    You can see remnant parts of the initials there.
