Folks Came across this coin in change. Just curious if it is a cud or pmd. I checked online and all the cuds i have seen appear rounded on the top. Sorry about the poor photo's, my camera is not working. Thanks for any info.
It's a cud. There were quite a few for 1984. You can see if it's listed here: http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-cuds-1984/ If not, you should get it listed. Nice find.
A cud does not have to be rounded across the top. All that is necessary to be considered a cud is that it extends along the rim and into the field. Chris
