1983 with what I believe is a rim error on the obverse

    I see an almost off center strike to this coin as well as a die crack on the reverse and bulging as well. I am trying to familiarize myself with terminologies so any help would be great.

    This is die deterioration or erosion, and yes I believe that is a die crack.
    IMO.

    Its a MAD coin. I think the bulging you are seeing is the result of the Zinc under the copper, not a die issue.
