1983-P Off center-broadstruk-RR wheel-No Reed

    Hi Folks, Need some help as to what this coin error is called. I call it a BU 1983-P Washington Quarter Off Center %10-12 maybe..Broadstruck larger than normal..RR wheel pic is same around whole coin..no reeding around whole coin. Does this type error have a certain name? Thanks to all for your help. Jerry

    It's known as a partial collar, also known as a railroad rim.

    What is the diifence between a railroad rim and a railroad wheel? Thanks

    Nothing, just a different way of saying the same thing.

    I never heard of railroad wheel. Railroad rim is the common terminology.
    By the way, nice coin.
