Found this roll hunting. Any opinions on value and/or submission for grading?

It's a common cent/error, put it in a flip. It's not worth the grading fees.

1982. The coin in the picture is a 1982 small date copper. It is still a common/error and not worth the grading fee.

Apologies for the date mistake. Guess I'm just not focused today. On a bronze planchet plus the mad? Seems like it should be worth a look to my admittedly rudimentary knowledge of transition/error coins.

@paddyman98 …how about it, Ed? What would be a fair value for this coin?

Value? If I saw it at a flea market in a minor errors coin album I would pay $1.00 for it. Not worth submitting in my honest opinion.

Small date on copper is nothing significant, It's one of the 7 known business strike varieties.

    See above ;)
