I'm not sure if these are collectible but I know I read it here on CT that Frank Gasparro put his initials, FG, between the eagles left tail feathers and the left drumstick.. :eat: er the left thigh on the reverse of the coin. I'll post some photos soon. The reverse photo shows some dark grey stuff that is probably from plastic on the flip. It is not on the coin in hand. The title should have read: 1983 P Kennedy....

Sure they are collectible. Most Kennedy collectors should want or have one. But there is a big difference between "weak initials" and NO initials. Not sure the weak initial variety is worth the $50 marked on your holder. The no initials coin probably isn't worth fifty bucks either.
I have several from 1983 and some 1982.

This is a bit tighter shot of the tail feathers and the thigh.

The FG initials should be within the red ring.

My mistake on the $ sign. It was to read $.50 or 50 cents. No way was I pricing this at all.

While the photos don't show any initials there, very faint FG can be seen with a 10x loupe.

Yes most of them do have initials if you look hard enough.
