1983 p dime off center error

    IMO you coin based on your pic has a MAD( misaligned die) also it appears to have DDD ( die deterioration doubling). JMO

    It's only off center if both sides are off. If just one side is off it's MAD as Dave said.
    The larger the error the better. Off center is better than MAD so check the other side. This is just slightly misaligned and so even though it's cool, no extra value.
    If the back is also off, then I would keep it.

    Yes the mis aligned die strike is more common.
    And it's only slightly off. If you look at a lot of coins,
    you'll see this more and more. The larger the error the better.
