digging through a bucket of pennies with my boy at his grandparents yesterday and this was the very first coin I picked up! Bizarre. Thoughts on what it is and it's value? Front is off center but reverse isn't. We are new to all this so all input is appreciated.

That is not an Off Center Error
It's what is call A Misaligned Die Strike with a Die Break (CUD) on the Obverse. The Reverse is centered.

    Only the CUD has value - $5 - $10

I like your Cent! Thanks for sharing!

Looks like the reverse is also slightly misaligned toward 7:00. Not in the same direction as the obverse.

Is there something going on by the N in ONE on the reverse?

    If it's copper it's worth a fortune.
