Hi everyone came across this 1983 penny, reverse crack die on the bottom of the memorial on both sides, also on the steps leading from the crack, and on the obverse the L, liberty is connected to the rim , along with a cud above and below the 9, quite a bit going on with this coin. Thanks in advance!
A cud is related to the rim only, otherwise they are classified as die chips. What you have is called a linear plating blister. http://www.error-ref.com/?s=linear+plating+blisters
