Could someone let me know if this is a ddr please. It seem to have the characteristics according to the cherrypickers guide, but then again I seem to think that 90% of the coins I look at do too LOL.

No, sorry it is not the 1983 Lincoln DDR. The doubling on the real one is easily seen by eye. I concentrate on the "E pluribus unum" and the O in One cent. The CPG shows those 2 areas well.

    Welcome to the forum!!

There are more than one 83-P DDR although I do not see anything on this particular one. Cherrypickers is a fine book but there is so much more out there than what they have listed.

True. The CPG only picks the popular varieties within the series but..........some of the varieties are extremely minor and only have interest for the "complete" variety collector.

    Thanks for the replies

Guess I will have to keep looking! Now at least I know it is far more obvious than what I thought. It sticks out like a sore thumb. I did just get a roll of 1983's, so if i do find one it will be in MS (hopefully) :foot-mouth::yes:If I find one I will post it. I found coppercoins.com has a lot of different varieties listed. I will post anything interesting I find, thanks for the replies!
