1983 D Lincoln Die Break ???

    Can't find this coin on cuds-on-coins.com or other sites. This is an obvious error of some sort so looking to the old and wise... on this site for your remarks. Thanks. 83D cent error.jpeg

    It's a plating blister.

    That line under TRUST is just a plating blister as stated. Your cent is zinc and coated with a thin layer of copper. This is very common and commands no extra premium.

    As stated, poor plating issues on lousy Zincoln cents. NAV = NO ADDED VALUE, heck, hardly worth a cent, in my book.

    Once again you folks have ed-u-ma-cated this old man. So sad.... been roll hunting two boxes of cents and not making much cents at this time... lol
