1982P - Double Die??

    Hello everyone! I am a new coin roll hunter and I enjoy reading about coin errors. I have only found a few so far! I ran across this 1982P Lincoln Cent coin and it looks like there is a slight DD on "In God We Trust" and it looks like the S in "TRUST" shows some indication of a double die. Do you guys think this is a double die?

    please post pictures of the whole coin, i can not tell from that picture but i can tell you that no 1982 cents have been found with a ddo but having said that there is a 1982 ddr that was found a few years ago by one of our fellow members even i think! so anythings possible.

    Welcome to the neighborhood, CMM!

    It's impossible to tell from that photo. We would need better photos. In any event, the condition of that coin would make it such that it wouldn't be worth a whole lot.

    Thanks for the replies everyone! I tried my best with the picture but I guess I need to read a sticky forum post about that. I had a picture at 10,000 pixels and it was way to big to post. Anyways thanks for the link I will check out that website and I look forward to learning more about coins!!
