This is the reverse of a 1982p cent. I was wondering if the area missing ( the "e" in e pluribus unum ) is a result of something on the die when stuck or a lamination peel? Or, just post mint damage... 1982rev.jpg

    I would say lamination peel.

Either that or a "lemon" peel!
