I think if you weigh the coin it will be 2.5gr, there appears to be zinc spots showing

 

There are 7 business strike varieties of the 1982 Cent.

They are all worth 1 Cent

 

Yes I weighed it. That is how I know its a small date copper, it weighs 3.1. I thought I read the small date copper was worth more than the other 82's. Wrong again!

 

I just read the 1982 small date bronze is worth more ,am I wrong? I have checked the weight several times to make sure. Sorry that's as clear as I can make it.

There is no 1982 Small Date D Mint Copper.

Only 2 examples have ever been discovered.
There have been dozens of threads here on CoinTalk of people thinking they found a 3rd example and they have all been wrong.
