Do you have a gram scale?
    They are cheap.. About $10.00
    Copper Cents weight 3.11 Grams
Copper Plated Zinc Cents weigh 2.5 Grams

They can have a +/- weight variance at times.

1982 Cents were made in both Copper and Copper Plated Zinc

    It's a large date.
It is in nice condition, and I would save it. But there's no real value there.
They made billions of this type. (If copper)
No mintage numbers for the zincs but 2 billion Philly zinc LD
and 1 billion Denver zinc LD is ballpark.
I arrive at my ballpark numbers by figuring that 17 billion were produced,
almost 11 billion (large, small, copper, zinc) at Philly and 6 billion (large copper, large small zinc) at Denver.
They switched to zinc at the very end of the year, so there are less of them.
The easiest way to tell is to weigh them. Copper 3.1g zinc 2.5g. There are
some visual tells. Copper will usually look a little more chocolatey, and often with the zinc you can see the zinc if there is any break in the plating.

Easy way to tell them without a scale is to flip them as shown in @paddyman98 's avatar. If you hear a ringing sound, bronze. If not, zinc.
