Here is (IMO) a nice rainbow toned 1982-P not perfect but looks good to me. There is a die crack on the reverse and possibly a weak strike near STATES/E P, a die chip near the bottom of Lincoln's vest, EPU might have doubling.
My question is how do you guesstimate value on coins like this and whether to have it professionally graded or not. Thoughts?

You can have any coin graded.. but if you want your minor errors attributed forget about it! They won't..
Small Die Cracks, Struck Through Grease, small Die Chips and Mechanical doubling are worthless.

Grading has to due with the condition of a coin
Attribution has to do with identifying Errors and Varieties

First thing for myself in determining value on a common coin is,
How much would I pay for it.
Do you look at this coin and say wow, what a stunner?
Not much value there in my opinion.

Cool coin but not something I would pay the fees to have it graded.

Cost-benefit analysis just like every decision.
