    No, not at all. It's damage. Look at the gouge. That's cut into the surface of the coin. But you can also see around the gouge and that is raised. The raised metal is from the gouge.

    Oh ok I thought the raised metal around the gouge was the leaf underneath it and what looked like stems (posted) at the end made me think it was a leaf. I still have lot to learn. Thank you for confirming it's not a leaf. received_1549615715219630.jpeg
