Is this a error coin? The mint mark has a indention around it, and it looks like some of the 9 is missing. Should I spend, keep or sell? Picture is attached.

Howdy and welcome! I didn't find a listing for 1982 RPM which was maybe a thought from me, but I can't see it that well. I do know others will ask to have a close up of it, that way the can be better able to help out. Happy Hunting and Gd Luck!!!!

The indentation around the mint mark is a common occurance. It happens when the mintmark is punched into the die.
The other issue is what looks to be (without seeing the reverse) from a misaligned die. Another common occurance.

First, welcome to the neighborhood, Brian!

It would be best if you started your own thread and be sure to include clear photos, including a close-up, of the coin.
