1982 P Dime DDR

    The reverse looks to have DD, especially on the left.

    Not a doubled die, but machine doubling.
    It's flat and shelf like without split serifs.

    The forth picture has an E that looks like a split at the bottom right. The O in OF is actually separated somewhat from the rest. I do agree that MD is prevalent, but there seems to be suggestions of DD.

    To me it looks like die deterioration.
