Post-Mint damage. Something hit the raised numeral and damaged it.

What's with the silverish color of the coin outside the date area?

The gray area is part of a highlighter in my photo program. It is called " SOFT FOCUS". It allow you to put everything else on the coin out of focus while you can adjust the size of the area you want to be in focus. Sounds complicated but it is realy simple and once you use it you'll like it.

The gray part looks looks just as focused as the rest.

The reason for that is because i used the highest setting for the focus area and the highest sharpness setting so i could display the '2' better. I probably didn't need to do this feature but i thought it looked cool.

Post mint damage bubble gum Machine so the proper equation is
    1982-P - 2)=7 + Buble GUM machine = damaged digit

    So the proper equation is\\
    1982-P( 2 = 7)+ Bubble gum machine=Digit Damage
