Too many varieties of 1982 lmc. Does a 1982 no mint mark
    lmc weighing 3.00 g. have a value over face ? WIN_20190416_20_15_10_Pro.jpg WIN_20190416_20_15_30_Pro.jpg WIN_20190416_20_16_07_Pro.jpg

    No Mint Mark?
No Mint Mark identifies a Philadelphia minted coin. At one time in the US history when the US was much smaller, there was only one mint. they didn't need a mint mark to identify where their coin was made, as there was only one place.

Mint Marks showed up for *other* mints as they started up as the US grew across to California.

You 1982 has a bad case of Environmental Damage.

It's a Philly small date copper. In mint state it has a little value.
They made 17 billion cents in 1982 and almost all of them are worth .01 cent.

@Martha Lynn if you don’t already have a copy of the Red book you should pick one up. $12.00 on eBay or Amazon. You’ll love it!
