1982 Lincoln Penny with lettering cut by rim on reverse???

    I found this 1982 Lincoln Penny with the rim of the reverse cutting the word "AMERICA" in half almost??? 1982cutinrim.jpg

    Struck with a Worn Die. It may be wear from the collar rubbing on the die.
    Is it zinc or copper?

    I'm so sorry, I am still trying to figure this all out, I'm pretty new here. I actually do not have a scale right now, so I really do not know.
