Here are two different looking 1982 dated Lincoln cents but they don’t look a like - could one be a large date & one a small date? Thanks for your expert opinions. Yup, in your side by side picture of the obverse, the cent on the left is a large date, the cent on the right is a small date. Kentucky's graphic shows how to identify them.
That's probably the explanation. Why would anybody want to hear what a retired Chemistry PhD has to say, anyway.
