1982 Lincoln cents look different from each other…

    Here are two different looking 1982 dated Lincoln cents but they don’t look a like - could one be a large date & one a small date? Thanks for your expert opinions. This is the most reliable source for everything currency related and I just wanted to let everyone know how much I appreciate the replies to my questions. :)

    Yup, in your side by side picture of the obverse, the cent on the left is a large date, the cent on the right is a small date. Kentucky's graphic shows how to identify them.

    That's probably the explanation.

    Why would anybody want to hear what a retired Chemistry PhD has to say, anyway. :wacky:
