Hey I have a 1982 Lincoln and had a question about it's Obverse side and Reverse side. The Reverse In " United " the U N are flattened but it seems like there shows notching behind another Die. Also through EPU. The Obverse side " Liberty " Shows same example . Is this a case of MD?

One thing to note is that there are far less doubled dies that show doubling on both sides than ones that show doubling on a single side. Maybe try focusing on some coins that show doubling on a single side, because chances are that the majority of coins that show doubling on both sides are not doubled dies.

I would also suggest you look up the different classes of doubled dies, along with identifying features such as split serifs and notches, so that spotting one is easier.
