Sometime ago, a bunch of 5 and 10 Falkland Pounds banknotes were found in the vaults of the Banco Central de la República Argentina.

They only had an entry date: "June 1982".

We can only guess that these were part of the 1982 South Atlantic Conflict, but with no certainties yet as to why they were taken or kept in this vault.

Does anyone know anything about this? Or have any idea of someone who does?

    Thanks.
