hello everyone, on the date as for the 2, it looks as though it was hit 3 times, at the bottom are three layers, LIBRARY is also doubled.thank you! Dottie
I cannot see any clear doubling on the date or mintmark, but with cents from that era it's ("doubling") usually an indicator of either strike doubling or die deterioration doubling. Other photos, though, suggest the latter the likely cause for what you're seeing.
