Hello to all! I sure have missed this forum! Hope all is well! I found this 1982 D Washington Quarter yesterday. I need some help figuring out what this could be, if anything at all. Thank you in advance for your input

Just to let everyone know its not glue on the surface. She didn't post it to be picked on. This is a passion of hers and when she finds something she gets very excited and doesn't even post it anymore because people want to be childish and make people feel bad for their low self esteem or jealousy. She looks to you people for more information and if you dont want to help then dont reply. Dont take her fun away.
Wrong.. We are here to help and give our honest attribution. We are specialists who have been doing this for decades. We are not children nor jealous in any way. Would you rather that we lie and tell her or you the incorrect information? If you look at many of her past threads we have helped her in a positive way many times. Just ask her.
Sorry, you may not like the answers but they are correct. No one is on here to knock anyone down. She asked for more information and she was given information. Some of the people who posted on the coin are very experienced error collectors and even recognized experts in the field. Would it be better to agree that it is some great error when we all know it isn't? If you don't like the responses you can always have it sent in to one of the professional grading companies for their opinion but it will cost you. Oh, and one of the experts who authenticates errors has already given his opinion here.
No one has been picked on. Correct answers have been given. Take a step backwards and read what has been posted. Take some clear glue and you can make all of these that you want. The members here have seen hundreds of these. There is nothing in the minting process that will create this look.
Hey, Brandon! Tell your girlfriend that the quarter you, both claimed to have found, can be submitted to any one of the top TPGS' for authentication and when it comes back without the authentication, then you can still use it at a parking meter. ~ Chris
I already suggested that they soak it in acetone, but of course, no one responded. That's typical for someone who is full of.......... ........it? ............themself? Take your pick! ~ Chris
No one is picking on her and the last thing we all want is to hurt someone. If you disagree with all the answers then it's up to you to prove them wrong. What do you think it is?
