I see nothing on pluribus but a worn old die. Variety Vista has no known varieties for this date andMM. http://varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/DDR listing.htm Can I again stress that you use the links provided to educate yourself further. Here you can also read up on worthless doubling and how dies are made. https://doubleddie.com/ The more you study the minting process the easier to separate the wheat from the chaff
OK! I looked again, specifically at Pluribus. Still don't see any doubling! Sorry!! Maybe it's my old eyes!!! LOL There are several members much smarter than me about doubling. Maybe they will see what I am not! Good Luck!!!
I dont think smarter, LOL. I remember when i first started on here with these type of questions. Was told in no uncertain terms to read, look, read, look and read again.
no no, dont take it the wrong way, i meant to sat that i have been doing some research over the past few years but i still never get it right. i never meant no disrespect to you or anyone else, just like everyone else...i coin hunt . thanks
No apology needed, no disrespect there. Just trying to put you on the right track so you can fully enjoy this hobby for years to come. Good hunting
i been collecting for over 40 years, only recently, like 5 years or so started to really look at my coins closely when i got my USB microscope. started seeing them differently.
One thing I will add, USB scopes and overmagnification will reveal all manner of oddities that become over-exaggerated and can lead you down the wrong path
