1982 d small date

    Welcome To Coin Talk. Really not sure what Info / knowledge you may be looking for without a specific question asked. What you have posted looks like an 82-D, copper cent. If you post an up close, full image photo someone might be able to make a call on the mintmark. It may have some type of doubling. But I can't tell with photo at hand. 82D.jpg

    Hello my opinion it looks like a large date. If that is what you are asking. Others may agree or diasgree. LOL

    Wow, if someone tapped in that mintmark twice, he missed twice. Look how far to the left it is.

    That's true I was meaning to ask if offset mm are sought after. If so they could list it that way and make money.

    The different shapes of the 2 is the key to determining large and small date 1982's. Zinc cents are 2.5 grams and copper are 3.1.
