this penny has been badly damaged all over just wondering what could cause it to look like a rope runs through the columns they look very smooth on the top surface. there is lot of weird stuff goes on with coins lol. tks .
thanks I know you guys run across a lot of novices like myself .but I for one am trying to learn and have a little fun along the way .I have collected for a number of years or should I say bought stuff . would store it away some as long as thirty years my pocket change went in canisters. have a lot of loose change to look at . thus comes the items I have been posting I have quite an over all collection just now have the time to look at and log it. I truly hope it is not bothering any one .just trying to learn what is what along side reading and research thanks again
