THIS IS THE SMALL DATE 1982 D LINCOLN, RIGHT? I DON'T HAVE ANY SCALES RIGHT NOW BUT IT LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE COPPER. NO WAY! JUST COULDN'T HAPPEN! DON'T LAUGH AT ME. I'M NEW AT THIS. LOL
Sorry, looks more like the large date. Notice the curve in the 2 Also the top circle of the digit 8. The small date 8 has been compared to a snowman.
TIME? YEAH... I'VE PUT IN A LOT OF THAT DOING THIS AND SO FAR I HAVEN'T RECIEVED MUCH MORE THAN A LOT OF DISAPPOINTMENT. I DO ENJOY HUNTING PUT I STILL NEED TO GET SOME RETURN ON THE INVESTMENT. I THINK MAYBE I JUST ENTERED THE GAME TOO LATE.
Hey Jeff, never too late . As long as your enjoying yourself and collecting what you like is all that matters . It's a hobby not a "get rich scheme ". Happy Holidays !
Yours is a Large Date.. Some more pictures - Putting in a lot of time actually means years. Some of us have been collecting mint errors and varieties for decades. I started in 1985. I started the hobby because I found it fascinating. I have never sold any of my coins .. Not interested in investment. By the way.. The use of CAPITAL letters implies that you are yelling. It irks some of us.. We like to have you here but don't YELL.. Welcome to CoinTalk buddy Oh.. And get yourself a jewelers gram scale.. It's a very important tool for coin collectors!
