As I'm having trouble distinguishing what I have apparently, I figured I'd just post the best pictures I could take and let you tell me. I'll just point out the mint mark and the date. Am I at least correct in saying this a small date?

Yes you are correct it is a small date. Is it copper or zinc?

It would have to be zinc, since there was no D small date copper. The best way to tell is to weigh it. Copper is 3.1g and zinc 2.5g.

An 82-D SM DT copper has been found and it graded XF...I,m sure there will be others found in the future...I always look for these now.
