1982 d large date copper cent

Greetings, I know this is a large date by the number two in the date. Does it seem like the date is further away from the rim than the usual large date? Ty

No. I think the poorly defined rim in that area is giving you that impression.

You guys rock something as simple as that and I didn't notice it well back to the amateur stage LOL

 

don't get so singularly focused on one particular spot. For example, you can compare the rim by the date to the opposite side of the obverse and see the irregular rim internal edge. And it looks like there are rim irregularities on the reverse side of that area too.
