yes it meets all the criteria, Denver mint, weighs over 3 grams the 8 and 2 are small date!!! so what's the best way to appraise and sell? I am excited to find it and here's a pic
This is a 1982D Large Date Not small date. Not rare and the condition is less than par. Sorry. 1982 P & D Large and Small Dates (lincolncentresource.com)
It's definitely a Large Date. Here are some pictures for you to determine the difference.. There have only been 2 known examples of the Copper 1982 D Small Date ever discovered. I gave up searching many years ago because I and many others have realized that another probably would never be found. There are many threads on CoinTalk and hundreds of others on Facebook coin forums of searchers thinking they found a 3rd example. They have always been incorrect. Just know this.. you will drive yourself crazy and waste a lot of time trying to find another.
Nope.. and the link shows a coin forum. Not your picture. If you are looking for a Copper 1982 Denver Mint Small Date YOU WILL NEVER FIND ONE! Don't waste your time.
Copy and paste from my photos isn’t working. How do I make that happen? I have 3 1982D side by side. And there is a definite difference.
Try putting the photos in a file on your computer and then go to the bottom of your posting and click on "upload a file", go to that file in the computer and click on the image you want to attach to your typed info and "open". Jim
Spend them. Not what you think they are. You still don't know the difference between small and large date. We have provided the information on your previous thread. And you need a scale to weigh the difference between copper and copper plated zinc Planchets.
