I went through pennies and found 58 3.11g pennies (D) but I am having a hard time telling the difference in a small/large date. I know the odds are astronomical that I would find a small date but one can hope. Plus the hunt itself is exciting. (Newbie) Can someone with knowledge take a look at these three and tell me? Thanks PS to some of you it may be blatantly obvious, I haven’t gotten there yet.
Your photos aren't the best, but they all look like Large Date to me. Save this image to your photos so you can refer back to it for comparison. Chris
Thanks Chris. I have the photo as reference from the Red Book. I think someone on CT advised me to buy it. I also have a new magnifier and light coming. So I should be able to get better pics. The darker one still has me questioning size. The 2 is shaped different. I’ll try to get a better image. Thanks again for your help.
