1982 copper large date cent Lincoln

    I've never seen this before on the reverse Lincoln's got steps going up to his seat. what is that all about? Grease filled?     Could be some freakish plating blisters on the seat.

    I see no doubling at all.

    That's... Really cool for the Lincoln steps, I'd sleeve that up even if it's not an error there. Though, there's definitely no Doubling.

    Well finally I got something to be proud of LOL thanks guys and gals. I've checked the sites variety Vista copper coins etc I see nothing like it. Should I send it in?

    Good eye. I've never seen that before and my eye was drawn to it, as it obvious to the naked eye. You would think that you/we would be seeing more like this, if it wasn't just an anomaly. Maybe a plating issue, as Ed said, but certainly different. A keeper for sure. If no others turn up, maybe send it to someone for authentication?
