Notice you joined today, welcome to CT! The answer is no, at least not to your satisfaction. Missing letters as such are usually due to grease filled dies or severely worn/circulated coins (as is your case). Some might keep them as novelties or examples of abused coins, but they are generally only worth face value (as is yours).
I don't see the same possibility. I really don't feel that this coin was nothing other that a decently struck coin when minted, I find it hard to believe that with that much damage, it could be anything else.

I have never Ignored anyone, and I don't think that you are capable of making me ignore you. I was only trying to specify that the op's coin was to damaged to fall into a grease filled die situation. Ignoring is for those who don't want to learn.
