Hi I have a couple of sheets (16 dollars per sheet) of uncut 1$ dollar bills, series 1981 with serial numbers starting with 99..is this worth more than face value or just a fun collector item? Thank you.

Well, like a lot of collectibles, it is worth what someone will pay. A quick search of eBay shows similar ones like yours going for around $50 a sheet for the same year and also starting with nine nine.

Uncut sheets have serial numbers above 95000000. That way you can tell if someone is "creating errors" by doing fancy out-of-alignment or fold-over cuts.
