This is nice pics, but just to add that there is a 3rd "s" style that is in between the 2. This is the one that fools everyone. I studied this variety since 1981.
The middle "s" style was first classified as a type 2 "clear s". This was why this term "clear" should never be used with the 81, just the 79. A few years after issue it was no longer a type 2. Many thousands of these were sold by dealers in coinworld, even by the rolls. You have to be a dinosaur to remember this.
