1981-P Off Metal Nickel Error: This 1981-P Jefferson Nickel is struck on a copper cent planchet, which was damaged prior to the strike. I feel this was likely damaged by the planchet cutter or feeding mechanism, but the details of the coin are struck over the damage. This coin is uncirculated, and I would say 75% or more of the red remains. The strike is weak, particularly on the obverse, but the date and mint mark are clearly visible. $180 or Offer.
