I'm guessing that this penny has been plated by someone at some point. It has a bright brass-like appearance and obviously doesn't look copper. Before I toss it I thought I would get some other opinions on it. Are there any giveaways to look for that will determine if a coin has been plated or not? Any info is appreciated thanks.
