I was going thru some of my coins and stumbled upon an envelope that was left to me by my now deceased grandmother. I came across an envelope from the US Mint stating "U.S. Mint 1980 Uncirculated Coin".
I flipped open the envelope and it had the cent, nickel, dime, Kennedy Half, and two Susan B Anthony Dollars- all coins with D mm, except one of the Susan B Anthony's had an S mm. Was there a special mint set with all the D coins plus the S mint Anthony? I didnt really know the mint issued sets like this with two different mm's. They are in the original cellophane packing with the red strip at the top and bottom. And there is the cardboard piece's and a slip of paper from the mint as well. Thanks for the help folks!!!

Yes.... I believe the 1980 and 81 sets had the SBA S coins in them. Without looking I can't be 100% sure.... but I do know at least one set did have the S SBAs. I know definitely, without a doubt that the 1979 set did not because I just cut one out last night for my books. :)

You have half of a regular 1980 mint set.

The other half has an envelope with blue stripes and the six Philly mint coins for 1980.
