$30 find for an R.S. Yeoman signed redbook. Alva Christensen was a coin dealer with Christensen and Stone coin dealers.
My 1st red book 1964 was signned by him at the coin club meeting .....I was 10....and so excited to meet him. Ill post it tomorrow.
Hey I remembered....now in those days a 10 y/o was seen and not heard so when my father asked him to sign.... I was there but other than saying hi and shaking his hand I wasn't part of the conversation. So it wasn't dedicated to me....however later learning on an autograph its better by its self or more valuable just signed. @Even8 I appreciate the flash back....thanks...Paddy BTW notice in those days.....the red book of US coins was printed in the good old US of A....another noticeable difference is price...in 1980 I was 26 and your price point was under $4....im guessing in 64 maybe $1.50 ? I purchased mine from my paper route earnings...at a Reads drug store.....now a days a Rite -ade drug store.
