I thought this was damage but after studying it all the craters edges seem to flow together like the metal was hot and it also has little metal spots on it that look like molten metal that was flung onto it. It has a P mintmark that is filled and possibly doubled. Would like to hear opinions?
Looks like a lot of metal is missing from this coin, another one that may have spent a lot of time in the ground??
