Found this dime wondering if the title is correct and if there's any value. Thx.

Jacob, is the pinkish stuff in pics the copper core of the coin? If it is, it looks like the clad is peeling in spots. Value, beats me.

    Also welcome to the community.

Yes. It seems to be mostly copper. It's not peeling thoughit's smooth

It looks to me like someone might have attempted to clean it in an acid bath.

Yes I agree with Chris. Someone scraped off some of the outer layer.
I think with these types of errors, they are easier to verify when the coin is in mint state. Then the error is prominent. When the coin is heavily circulated, 99.9% of the time it is post mint damage.
    BUT ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

I should have added that the reason I think it was dipped in some sort of acid is because the copper shows through in splotches on both sides. It seems rather strange that the clad layer could have been applied in this way.

Also, this comment made by Michael made me think that if it had really been a Mint error, the copper core would surely have tarnished by now after being in circulation for 35+ years. Instead, it looks like the coin may have been dipped in acid very recently.

Here is an uncirculated Kennedy half missing a clad layer that I found in a Mint bag.
